Business Administrator

Position Summary

The Business Administrator coordinates the administrative, accounting, project-support, compliance, and operational functions that support PSI Fuels’ daily business activities. The position serves as an operational hub between executive leadership, customers, vendors, project teams, employees, and professional service providers while maintaining the systems and processes that support the Company’s continued growth.

Primary Responsibilities

Business Operations

  • Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations and support executive leadership.
  • Maintain SharePoint, company records, document control, templates, forms, and procedures.
  • Coordinate office administration, communications, scheduling, purchasing support, and general business needs.

Accounting & Finance

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and support customer invoicing and progress billings.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online and coordinate with the Company’s outside accounting professionals.

Project Administration

  • Establish and maintain project files, contracts, purchase orders, change-order documentation, and customer correspondence.

Compliance & People Administration

  • Maintain contractor licenses, registrations, insurance certificates, corporate records, and compliance trackers.

  • Support recruiting, office growth, and development of scalable administrative processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Five (5) or more years of business administration, accounting, project administration, or comparable professional experience preferred.
  • Construction, engineering, industrial, or other project-based industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software preferred.
  • Strong organizational ability and demonstrated discretion with confidential business information.

Project Manager

Position Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, commissioning, and successful delivery of assigned compressed natural gas (CNG) and renewable natural gas (RNG) fueling infrastructure projects. The Project Manager serves as PSI Fuels’ primary operational leader for assigned projects from turnover through final customer acceptance and owns safety, schedule, budget, engineering and procurement coordination, subcontractor performance, customer communication, closeout, and project profitability.

Primary Responsibilities

Project Planning & Leadership

  • Participate in estimating, proposal review, contract review, project turnover, and execution planning.
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, scope, commercial requirements, and project risks.
  • Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, procurement plans, and milestone tracking.
  • Coordinate engineering, equipment procurement, fabrication, material deliveries, permitting support, and field execution.
  • Lead project kickoff, progress, customer, subcontractor, and closeout meetings.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and establish clear accountability across the project team.

Construction & Field Coordination

  • Direct and support Construction Superintendents and field personnel assigned to projects.

  • Review and approve project invoices and subcontractor payment applications within delegated authority.
  • Identify opportunities to protect or improve project gross margin without compromising safety, quality, or customer commitments.
  • Maintain accurate project reporting and promptly elevate material financial or schedule risks.

Customer & Team Leadership

  • Serve as the primary customer contact throughout project execution.
  • Provide clear, timely project status communication and resolve customer concerns professionally.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop Superintendents and field personnel.
  • Promote PSI Fuels’ culture of accountability, safety, responsiveness, disciplined execution, and long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum seven (7) years of heavy industrial, mechanical, utility, energy, or commercial construction experience.

Construction Superintendent

Position Summary

The Construction Superintendent is PSI Fuels’ field leader responsible for safe, efficient, high-quality execution of assigned CNG/RNG fueling infrastructure projects. The Superintendent directs day-to-day site activities, coordinates subcontractors and field resources, protects schedule and budget, maintains site documentation, and works closely with the Project Manager to deliver the project through startup, commissioning, and closeout.

Primary Responsibilities

Field Execution

  • Lead daily site activities and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, equipment, and field personnel.
  • Plan short-interval work, sequence trades, identify constraints, and maintain progress against the project schedule.
  • Read and apply drawings, specifications, installation details, and project requirements.
  • Identify field conflicts early and coordinate resolution with the Project Manager and engineering team.
  • Maintain an organized, professional, customer-ready jobsite.

Safety & Quality

  • Lead PSI Fuels’ safety expectations in the field and stop unsafe work when necessary.
  • Conduct and document toolbox talks, JSAs, pre-task planning, and routine site safety observations.
  • Verify work complies with approved drawings, applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and PSI quality standards.
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, punch-list work, and corrective actions.

Cost & Documentation

  • Understand the Approved Construction Budget and execute the work with cost and productivity awareness.

Startup & Closeout

  • Support equipment startup, testing, commissioning, customer training, and final acceptance.
  • Drive punch-list completion and timely project closeout.
  • Represent PSI Fuels professionally with customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum five (5) years of industrial, mechanical, utility, energy, or commercial construction field experience.
  • Minimum three (3) years in a Superintendent, General Foreman, Foreman, or comparable field leadership role.
  • Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and trades.
  • CNG/RNG, natural gas, process piping, electrical, mechanical, or fueling infrastructure experience strongly preferred.

Installation Technician

Position Summary

The Installation Technician supports the installation, assembly, testing, startup, and maintenance of CNG/RNG fueling infrastructure throughout North America. This is a hands-on field position intended for mechanically capable people who want to learn specialized alternative-fuel infrastructure while working alongside experienced PSI Fuels construction and technical personnel.

Primary Responsibilities

Installation & Field Support

  • Assist with installation and assembly of CNG/RNG station equipment, piping systems, supports, tubing, valves, enclosures, and related components.
  • Support equipment setting, material handling, site organization, punch-list work, startup, and commissioning activities.
  • Follow drawings, installation details, manufacturer instructions, and direction from PSI field leadership.
  • Maintain tools, materials, equipment, and work areas in safe and orderly condition.

Safety & Quality

  • Follow PSI Fuels safety policies, JSAs, toolbox talks, PPE requirements, and site-specific rules.
  • Perform work carefully and verify installation quality before completion.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, quality concerns, or field conflicts.

Development

  • Learn CNG/RNG station systems, equipment, piping, controls, electrical interfaces, and commissioning practices.
  • Develop the technical and leadership skills required for advancement into senior technician, commissioning, service, or field leadership roles.
  • Travel to projects as required and demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized CNG/RNG infrastructure.
  • Construction, mechanical, electrical, piping, automotive, industrial, military, or technical-trade experience preferred but not required for exceptional entry-level candidates.

Senior Service / Commissioning Technician

Position Summary

The Senior Service / Commissioning Technician is a highly skilled technical field position responsible for startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, repair, and technical support of CNG/RNG fueling infrastructure. The role serves as a technical representative of PSI Fuels with customers and is expected to diagnose complex equipment and controls issues while maintaining strong safety, documentation, and customer-service standards.

Primary Responsibilities

Commissioning & Startup

  • Lead or support startup, functional testing, commissioning, and performance verification of CNG/RNG station equipment.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, engineers, OEM representatives, controls personnel, utilities, and customers during startup.
  • Document commissioning activities, deficiencies, corrective actions, and final system status.
  • Support customer operator training and turnover.

Service & Troubleshooting

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and emergency service on CNG/RNG fueling equipment.
  • Troubleshoot compressors, dryers, valves, dispensers, controls, instrumentation, electrical interfaces, and related station systems within qualifications.
  • Identify root causes and implement or recommend durable corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate service reports, parts records, photographs, and customer communication.

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as a technical resource for PSI field personnel and customers.
  • Support development of service procedures, commissioning standards, PM checklists, and technical training.
